HOME SWEET HOME

You got it, we are finally back home. How great it will be to sleep in our own beds after over three weeks, especially for Michael. It has been a whirlwind since leaving Rochester, MN. Our trip through Chicago was an unforgettable event. Spinning Nation was a great success. We have lots of info to share about the event, the total amount Team Winter was able to generate in a single 24 hour period of time, and much, much more. We have some incredible photos to share. I am sure many of you read Saturday's article in the Hearld Times about Team Winter, if not we will provide a link soon.

But for now, it is lights out. We are all exhausted mentally and physically.

Our Love,
Dawn & Kids (and Michael!)

Hi,

Glad to see everyone made it home safe. We have been following your blog and your ordeal has really hit home. You probably still have a way to go in your recovery, Michael, but being back home should make it more comfortable. We wish you the best.

I haven't been on the blog in a week and I was THRILLED to hear you are back home. I'll tell all the BF kids/families that we are camping with that you are back (Andrew Campbell, Marcus, Kristen, Emily & Scott Matelski, Hunter & Aubry Spark, Ross Payton, Payton Bauman...) You've been the topic of many discussions. May God's Healing power be within in you and his strength and guidance beside you.

Michael, Dawn and Kids: I am so happy you are home. I don't know how you packed so much into Saturday and Sunday. You must all be worn out. Take care, stay strong and keep the positive attitude and faith that have helped sustain you thus far. Wow, I am glad you are home.

So glad to see you are home! Get some rest and enjoy some down time. Let us know if you need anything. Chicken soup? Hot fudge sundae? More spagetti? My specialty (burnt garlic toast)?

And keep up the walking...it'll help get your strength up...even with elephant feet. At least part of you is porking up:)

Michael, We missed your smiling mug at the MSAA summer convention!
All of us there were thinking of you and pray for a speedy recovery. We expect you to get back to work on the board when you get better and I'm sure your auction family will be glad for you to whip this thing and get back at it. Keep strong and we will be holding you up in prayer.
Your friend, Art Smith

Mike,

Glad to see you are on the mend and back home. I am a cancer survive myself for 8 years now and understand what you have gone through.

Nothing better than come home to your surroundings after totally surrendering yourself to all the procedures.

Keep building your system up and pushing forward.
